Lead to new lessonStep Two  Before readingTalk about the picture of reading.  1. What can you see in it? 2. What is the T-rex going to do? 3. Guess what the man is saying?Step Three  While reading1. Skimming  Read the reading quickly and answer questions and find the answers.2. Scanning  Read the passage carefully .Do several simple selections and fill in the form3.Read the text after the tape. Then read it by themselves and find main idea.4. Have the students to work in groups ,reading the text again. Then explain the text and find out the language points in the passage.(1)exciting 主语一般为某物或某事“令人---的”excited 表示被动之人的心理活动“感到---的”主语一般是人。

eg: We are excited about the exciting game.类似的词还有:interesting/interested, boring /bored, surprising/surprised …(2) dangerous (adj.) danger( n.)It’s dangerous for sb. to do sth.(3) dislike (v.)不喜欢“dis”表示“不”,“非”是一个否定前缀eg: disappear 消失disagree不同意discolor褪色dislike to do sth. 不喜欢做某事(4) because (conj.)表示因为,后面只能接从句,用来回答why的提问,表示直接原因,语气最强了because of 是复合介词,后接名词或名词性词组Step Four  After reading1.Follow the tape to read the passage loudly sentence by sentence. 2.Retell the text First,…… Next…… Then…… Finally….Now, 3.   A game about exciting sportsStep  Five.Sum up the lesson师生总结本节课所学的知识。
