PEP 小学英语五年级下册Unit 3 My Birthday B部分阅读课教学设计 一、教学目标1.知识技能目标:(1)能够听、说、读、写四会句子:What’s the date?June 9th. Is her birthday in June? Yes.(2)能够听、说、认读Read and write部分的对话;能够回答对话后的问题并书写答句3)能够正确朗读对话、获取对话的信息2. 过程方法目标教师根据歌曲《When is your birthday?》的内容对前置知识进行复习巩固,如When is the boy’s birthday? When is the girl’s birthday? What’s the date? 教师根据学生回答内容提问Is her/ his birthday in…? What’s the date? 为后面新授做铺垫教师通过现场演示让学生明白make a birthday card的意思,通过画简笔画让学生明白send an e-card的含义教师通过让学生自读课文找出When is Grandma’s birthday?,通过看图片发现What’s the date today?培养他们的看图能力和自己学习的能力。

学生通过看对话的课件,整体感知文本,并找出文中Where is the car? 提高学生抓主要信息的能力;通过回答“Does Grandma have a computer? Can Grandma see the e-card?”这两个问题,学生自主细读短文,采用划关键句的方法,找出答案,提高学生分析信息的能力;学生通过模仿跟读本课的录音,进一步理解课文,达到训练听说的能力学生通过猜明星的生日,对本课重点句型“Is her/his birthday in…? What’s the date?…”加以训练3.其他目标学生通过用本单元句型,能够询问并回答某人的生日是否在某一月份?提高学生的实际运用语言的能力学生通过各种形式的操练活动,培养自主探究、合作学习的能力培养学生养成感恩父母,关爱他人的优秀品质二、学习重难点1、本课时的教学重点是掌握两组四会句子:What’s the date ? June 9th.”和“Is her birthday in June ? Yes. 并会正确运用2、本课时的教学难点是Read and write 部分的对话因为语言知识含量较大,教师通过大量练习巩固词汇和句型,使学生充分理解对话内容,强化对知识的认识和运用。

三、教学准备1. CAI课件2.用来制作生日卡片的硬卡纸、水彩笔等3.每个学生一张练习题纸四、主要教学步骤Step 1 Warm-up1、Sing the song “When is your birthday?”2、对歌曲内容的提问:When is the boy’s birthday? When is the girl’s birthday?引出师生之间的对话交流Step 2 Review 教师与学生对话引出本课重点句型:T: My birthday is in September. When is your birthday?S1: …T: What ‘s the date?S1: …T: Is her/his birthday in…?Ss:… (设计意图:用熟悉的儿歌将学生带入英语学习的氛围中,既点明了本课的主题,又营造轻松的学习气氛,使学生迅速进入英语学习状态)Step3 Presentation1、通过现场演示让学生明白make a birthday card和send an e-card的含义和区别1)教师拿出实物卡片询问学生,Who has a birthday in April? Let’s make a birthday card for her.(2) 教师在黑板上画电脑简笔画,强调We can use computer to send an e-card.2、学习文本材料(1)教师提出问题让学生快速读课文,解决。

T: Does Zoom have a computer?What is Zoom doing?教师通过学生的回答进行小结:Zoom’s Grandma’s birthday is coming. So Zoom want to send an e-card to Grandma.(2) 教师提出问题,让学生继续读课文,并在答案下面画线T: When is Grandma’s birthday? What’s the date today?教师根据学生的回答进行小结:Today is June 9th, Grandma’s birthday is June 9th. So today is Grandma’s birthday.(3) 教师继续提出问题,让学生快速读,找出答案T: Does Grandma have a computer?Can Grandma see the e-card?教师根据学生的回答总结出本课难点句子:Then she won’t be able to see the card. 分节段化解难点4) 听录音,跟读,教师注意提醒学生模仿语音语调5) 学生自己读课文,在不明白的地方划线。

6) 同桌之间表演对话,约二分钟后请几组学生上讲台表演,教师和全班同学给予适当评价7) 完成课本上的两个问题(设计意图:进入文本学习后,通过几个问题的引领,让学生带着问题来学习文本材料,自己发现问题,解决问题这种“任务驱动”教学法,能够调动学生的积极思维,培养学生自主学习的能力)Step 4. Consolidation and extension1、Fill in the blanks,2、Play a game(猜名人的生日)课件出示成龙、刘翔、赵伟、姚明的图片教师询问:Who is he/she?Is his/her birthday in…?What’s the date?……(设计意图: 学生较为熟悉的各行各业的名人作为练习对象,巩固本课的重点句型Is his/her birthday in…? What’s the date?)3、排排队4、Read and answer(设计意图:通过形式多样的练习,从单词练习到句型练习,再到阅读理解,层层深入,巩固对知识的理解和记忆,帮助学生构建认知结构)Step 5 Sum-up1 、引导学生梳理总结教师提出问题:What have you learned this class? 引导学生进行总结,注意重点引导学生从语言功能方面来总结。
