疑难3:The person can’t be a boy.那人不会是个男孩(Section A, 2b) can’t be“不会是、不可能是”,表示否定推测疑难4:The soccer ball might be John’s or Tony’s. 那足球也许是约翰或托尼的(Section A, 2c) might be“也许”,表示可能性不大,且没有把握的推测,通常用于二者之间的推测疑难5:She is the only one who is studying French. 她是唯一学法语的人(Section A, 2c). one在这里为不定代词,通常用于表示同类事物或人中的一个 【拓展】比较one/it/that1)one ;泛指,同类中的某一个.I can’t find myhat,I must buy one again.2)it: 表示特指,与所指名词为同一个I can’t find my hat,I don’t know where I put it.3) that:表示特指,与所给名词为同类但不是同一个 The weather is hotter in Sanghai than that in Beijing in summer.疑难6:I can’t find my backpack.
